Beautiful color but a lot of fall out no matter what application I use
From online reviews, different Youtubers often will apply the shadow very opaquely on the eye, and in their reviews it looks like a cool medium gray type of silver, like pewter metal. A lot of them said it had a bit of lilac mixed into the gray hue. You can see that in the pan, yes. For me personally, since my skin tone is a somewhat neutral warm tone, I was wondering if Full Moon would look too cool on me and contrast with me, or just stand out more than I would like (which could be good if you wanted contrast I guess, but that's not my usual thing). When I tried it on, I found that it actually can work well for me: like all the other Chroma Light Shadows from Moira, the formula can easily be sheered out if you wish, leaving a wash of the base color you can blend with your own skin tone, all while always being very sparkly at any amount of application. So on me, I was able to get the gray to mix with my skin color to be a kind of warm gray sheer sparkle. And I thought it looked nice - it was like a smoky eye's super baby sister that can work for both day and night. You could potentially make it more smoky if you want by blending with a darker shadow or smudgy eyeliner.
I like this more than I thought I would. I was initially concerned that it might be a kind of basic pearly medium pink and that it would look kind of old-fashioned. Also, in the pan it was hard to pin down what color payoff to expect before trying it since the base color is kind of a medium warm, tawny rose, and then there's both kind of frosty and glitter layers mixed in. But basically, upon wearing it, I would describe this as pink ice. It's sheer and very sparkly; the overall color reads as a cool-leaning pink - not as warm a pink as Birthday Girl or as cool as Kiss & Tell. It's not overly pearly and frosty/pale, which I don't think I would have liked- it's more dominated by the sparkle, which has both a cool pink and a cool blue-green, which reminds me of rosebuds, and from a distance looks multicolored and makes the shadow not look basic. It reminds me of ColourPop's Frog, except for me, Frog's pink is so pale and sheer that it doesn't look noticeably pink on my lids at all, it looks almost like neutral. Both Frog and Rosé have the cool iridescent sparkles for contrast with the base color, but Rosé's sparkles have more color to them, which results in a bit more of an actual pink payoff.
I think it's feminine in a fresh way - very flattering. If you want a more tame look for everyday I would just put a light touch of the shadow, unless you welcome more sparkle/shimmer. It also does look nice in the inner corners of the eye.
The color the shift perfect
The color shift is so pretty easy use. Use finger not brush
