Lasted through a funeral in hot weather. Don’t have the energy to elaborate, but that’s all I need to really say.
Reminded me of the Pat McGrath powder… a lot. Not dusty, you have to build it up for it to get cakey, which it doesn’t.
Pluto looks like a pinky lilac in the pan, but for me, on my skin (neutral-warm light-medium), its pearl/shimmer color, which is a warm pink glow, is what shows up. It's very wearable and feminine in a light way. The color is actually pretty similar to the payoff I'm getting from both the Lucent Cream Shadow in the shade Milky Way and Moira's Supernova Glitz Shadow in Astro Glam. The difference between Pluto and Milky Way I think is a slight base color difference, but both have a pearly warm pink sheen/shimmer, and both have a kind of milky-pearly look; and Pluto is a bit more sparkly while Milky Way is a little more subdued and pearl-focused. These two have a translucent base, and Astro Glam has an even more sheer base compared with these two, and does not have that pearly-milky effect, but instead a finer and a bit more saturated sparkle. I think potentially you could just pick one of the three if you don't use this color much, or you could try more than one if you're curious about the slight differences. Overall though, I think each one is nice and well done.
Astro Glam is pretty! The base so far seems to be sheerer than I was expecting, so it mainly goes on like a swipe of glitter/sparkle. It has a noticeable pink overall glow, and as with the other Supernova Glitz Shadows, it seems to have a finer glitter fleck than Moira's other sparkly shadow products, and the glitters have a hotter pinpoint of more saturated color and are multicolored.
I got both this one and Moira's Lucent Cream Shadow in Milky Way because I wanted to compare them and see if they were too similar, and they actually are different despite being a similar color. Milky Way is a softer-looking shimmer and more milky of a light warm pink, while Astro Glam seems to have a sheerer base, more glitzy, saturated glitter flecks, and an overall slightly stronger, cooler pink sheen.
The color for both Astro Glam and Milky Way is actually pretty similar to the payoff I'm also getting from the Lucent Cream Shadow in Pluto, as well. You can see my review for Pluto for more info on that one.
Milky Way was exactly as I expected. It's a pearly, shimmery, light milky pink. It's definitely visible - a bit subtle and soft, less flashy and glitzy than some other shades, which is what I actually want this shade to be, so that it looks milky rather than glitter-heavy. The base is somewhat translucent but subtly milky, and the shimmer is a warm light pink. This could work either as a delicate, subtle sheen on the eyes for a light and feminine look, or it could also probably work great as a soft light pink highlighter on the face.
